As the title suggest my question is simple, Can I tune a Matthews Genesis Mini. My son is 4 and shoots a mini. Id have to guess the poundage at 6lbs as I tried to back the pounds out as far as I could. I put a peep a 4 pin sight that I removed two pins and an octane 3 brush rest as I really wanted to start him off in a true "hunting" setup. He is also using a relase. Yes I can place him 5-6 yds away and he will pretty much hit the target everytime he is actually trying to put the pin in the right place.

However I backed him out to 12yds and tried to use his second pin. It was at this point that I noticed very crazy arrow flight. This also happened with me shooting it for him at that distance. Now I didn't even think to paper tune this, and honestly I have the octane rest all the way to one end just on my eye ball setup. But can I actually paper tune this thing at 6lbs of dw. I mean I know he isn't going hunting, but I also want to teach him two pins and its so horrid on the flight it really isn't worth him shooting a second pin. His arrow is currently at 16 inches. I just wasn't sure if with that low pounds and with me having to try to shoot it I could recreate true flight that could be tuned on paper. I mean I can't ask him to shoot it through paper as he just isn't consistant enough with his form. Any help would be great.
