I try to. I used to head back to cabin/camp around 11am to eat a lunch, take a nap or whatever, but I had a lot of deer showing up at the noon hour or a little later. Now I just pack a lunch, carry a couple of empty bottles for potty breaks, but if the other situation presents itself then I head back. I carry my Dark Energy Posiden to keep my phone and tablet charged to kill the boredom.

I don't sit all day, just can't do it. During the rut I'll sit as late as I can, walk back up to the house eat, take a little nap then head back in. Later in the season, I will shift to doing some mid day hunts and have had some decent success seeing movement during those sits. I was about 30 minutes late one day last season and busted 3 nice bucks just about 50 yards from my stand.

I could, I choose not to. I did in years past but have never seen a deer in the early AM while hunting, I think the earliest I've ever seen any is about 10am.

I usually do during the rifle season, bowhunting, i'll wait til noon or so. i bring a book to help keep me in longer.
Remmett, i know what you mean, every opener, i usually dont see my first deer until 930-3pm. I count on one hand how many times i've seen deer right at opening light and sunset

If the time is right I can sit all day. I will admit, it is tough. Some years Ill do 5 to 7 all day sits, other just a few. Most of that depends on my family schedule.

I can if I am in my climber. Ladder stands - no way. Haven't used my Hawk yet so I'm curious how comfy that is.

Wow, that's crazy. By far, morning hunts are my most productive.

I’m so lucky to get invited to sit in a heated and raised box blind for gun season. We do all day sits because we can nap, eat, move around etc.
But up in a tree chilling in a hang on stand would be tuff but I’d give it a try if I could.

Never realized how many people don't do all day sits.

I look forward to the first few, but if it is slow or really warm I find it difficult to stay awake.

Probably going to have a fishing pole in my truck this weekend. If it doesn't seem like they are moving with the cold I'll hit the pond for a few casts to burn some time.

Come the rut though, I will be on stand or walking between from dark to dark for 10 days straight if that is what it takes.

It's a struggle to sit all day but I do it during the rut. My butt and back get sore and my legs sometimes get pins and needles. I try to stand up and stretch after some careful looking to make sure I'm in the clear.

Nope. I can't do it. I would like to be able to, but I just don't have the focus. I can do about 5-6hrs max.

I haven't done it as of yet. I try to have a long morning hunt and then get back in the afternoon till sunset. Taking a nap in my truck always helps me to feel more ready for more time in the stand.

I also have a wife and two small kids, so they don't like me being gone all day long... I can imagine trying to do this when they are a bit older.

Nothing wrong with not doing it by any means.

Up until last year the earliest I had killed a buck was 9am. Seen a lot of movement between 10am and 3pm and only a handful of times have I seen one after 3pm. One reason I rarely hunt evenings outside of the rut

I've been wanting to try it for 5 or 6 years and don't know why I waited til now. But there is definitely a learning curve, but so much fun!
