Well you pretty much accused me of never butchering a deer claiming I know nothing about deer anatomy when in fact I have butchered many deer amongst other livestiock and as others explained with the diaphragm there is no void or the lungs would collapse. Deer get lost every year and it is seldom an equipment failure more likely human failure.

Is this seriously still going? Just use whatever you have confidence in. Pretty sure nobody has changed their mind over the course of the discussion, and there are only 10 million of these threads around for people doing research on new heads. Personally, I will stick with my Rocket Steelheads. I don't care if you want to shoot something else.

    Oh Lort........

Please watch this video, I promise you will learn something. Now you might not be willing to publicly admit you are wrong, I hope at least you will stop the madness and quite telling people about a void that cannot physically exist.

How can you possibly shake your head when it is so far up your ***? You have had it explained in video and diagrams and yet you still think the rest of us are so wrong.

Wow!!! This is crazy!!! This it not gonna change anybody's mind on what they shoot because they are gonna shoot what they're gonna shoot, regardless of what's in this thread. Can't believe I sit here & read it again!! Even after reading it I'm still gonna stick with my 500gr FMJ's, with a fixed 3 blade, out of my 60# Spyder.

Sorry guys on second thought, after shooting my Nitrum Turbo through the chrony again, 485gr fmj, 100gr tip, 50gr insert. Speed came in at 293fps. At that speed & weight I think I may just switch to a judo tip for this season!!

Is shooting an arrow this controversial? Arrow placement with a sharp broadhead is the key. Anything else is just icing on the cake. Not really that complicated.

    KILL!

I agree way to much controversy. Look at our native for goodness sakes. They shot rocks on the end of their arrows!!!

The controversy is from myths being believed and half truths. Every time I hear somebody say the Rage did not open I have to wonder, I am not sure it is even possible if a person installed the shock collar wrong. When a rage is pulled back out either by hand or from a deers actions the blades tend to fold back in.

I don't see any reason to get worked up over this. If a man wants to use flimsy unreliable junk Broadheads that just fine by me.
