But the good news is, if the planets align and you are lucky enough to shoot a deer in Louisiana, there is a 100% chance of recovery. Always. And Elvis will help drag it out.

Elvis isn't dead, he's just gone to LA because he likes a good challenge.

Don't take it personally. Being new here, you did not realize that any question related to Rage would set this off. There is nothing wrong with your question. The longer that you are here, you will begin to pick up on what topics are controversial and will receive strong, opinionated responses. Know that most of the members here are more than willing to be helpful and most ribbing is meant in good fun and is not a personal attack. For future reference, the follow topics are considered controversial and/or subject to opinionated responses that may elicit rantings and ravings.

    1) Rage broad heads (as you have learned)
    2) Debating fixed vs mechanical broad heads
    3) What is the best bow
    4) Arrow Speed vs penetration
    5) The VOID
    6) Do Todd Graf's goggles make him an eagle-eyed deer slayer? Or do they distract the deer into standing still longer?

Never be afraid to ask a question but be willing to separate through the rantings, ravings, and garbage to find the good answers.

hey guys, I was thinking about asking rage to make fixed blade head, because that would be best, and then I could shoot it from my bowtech which is the best bow manufacturer there is.
I'm thinking about going super light and fast, or super heavy and slow, thoughts?
I'm also going to start wearing old school rec specs while hunting to help my accuracy while shooting at 75 yards at deer, this way I won't hit the void

I picked up a couple packs of the three bladed Rage with the cheap steel chisel tip that screws in the thin aluminum ferule, with the flimsy blades. Paid extra for two day shipping. Hopefully they are here by Thursday before I leave for my moose hunt!

I have to work on how to make this mechanical, but I was going to sharpen this badboy up and use it this fall you know, so I don't have to worry about the void.
I still have to figure out what to put over the hub to work as a chisel tip, anyone got anything?

I could sharpen some rail road spikes for you. Arrow gonna have the spine? Calling this Broadhead the Louisiana Purchase?

My best buck to date I almost didnt' find because the grim reaper I shot him with NEVER OPENED. It was like I shot him with a field tip. A grid search, luckily, found him..
