Since so many jerky enthusiasts here, question to fine tune my jerky. Mine always has the glazed over look after I dehydrate. I like the dry salty type. What step am I missing. I marinate in my super secret sauce that I may bring willing to sell, prices later. Marinate overnight and then I lay on dehydrator wracks and 4-6hrs they are ready for deployment. But they always have that glazed over jerky still seems alittle moist till the cool down. Are you guys using a rub of some sort to dry out the liquid before putting the jerky on the hudrater. I like mine, put always are it the dry salty way. ***i took my ambien pill and am fighting off the sleep and loopy feeling. If nothing I've typed makes no sense, just forget what was said here. I shall return victorious RAKASSAN !!!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Are u dabbing the fat off periodically with a paper towel while its in the dehydrator or oven and rotating/flipping the meat? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Tapatalk 2
