I've got the same problem. I'd go with a right handed recurve. I have a samick sage takedown with #40 draw weight and have no problem drawing it back. I regret going with aluminum arrows for my recurve because thier so heavy. I know you weren't asking about arrows but I'll just put it out there, I'd probably go with with the black eagle outlaw trad arrows or the he easton axis arrows.
