i was lucky enough to get my first archery buck this past week!!! and i was wondering if anyone could get me a score and age on it? its an 8 point with a 22 inch inside spread it weighed 215 lbs and the neck on this thing was unreal! any help would be great! pretty cool story... i had just finished up my morning hunt and had my stand and my camo in my backpack (due to a long walk so not to sweat on it) i just walked out of the woods and was hitting the walking trail when a doe jump out of a grove of trees that was in a crp field i was planning on shooting her but i heard foot steps from were she came from and saw another deer so i had my arrow in my rest and had knelt down and this monster stepped out gave me a pretty clear shot standing in a grassy area at 35 yards i made the shot and he went about 60 yards with an arrow through the middle of his heart
He will score right around or just under 130. It is near impossible to age a dead buck in a photo, sorry. Congrats on the nice buck.
What a first!! Be hard to top it. I also guess close to the 130 mark. My first one about 30 years ago wouldn't make one point on him. Congrats!!!!!!!!!
