.............what this is, buck or doe? I just can't quite make it out. I've zoomed in and keep going back and forth with it. I just got this camera last week (the Moultrie I40, right here from Bowhunting.com) and set it out Thursday evening. I checked it today and was all excited when I saw there is 730 pictures on it! But, alas......just this deer (which, by the way, was taken merely an hour after I set the camera) and a picture of the farmer's tractor as he sprayed the beans. Do you think that may keep the deer out of them for a few days? Also, does anyone know if this camera has a sensitivity setting for the motion sensor? The taller weeds directly in front of the camera are what I triggered it I believe. But, one good thing.........After 700+ photos it only used 1% of the battery life.......I like that! So anyway..........I've zoomed in on this and can't quite tell if it's a buck or doe. About the time I think it may be a small buck I change my mind, thinking it's a doe. Then back again. LOL......AHHHHHHH............
Looks like a Buck...on the right hand side (as your looking at it from the pic) you can see what looks like that side of the rack bowing out a but kinda sticks out from everything else...
What makes it appear to have antlers is the weed that is white of the deer's left side(right from our view). Just a fat slickhead mobow.
Yeah, that's the conclusion I came to as well, doe. I was in Kansas City all weekend, but judging from the photos it must have been windy and hot here in the land of MO on Saturday. Pictures later in the day have a temperature reading of 102*...........Holy hell that's hot. That camera is friggin sweet though. After work tomorrow I'm gonna move it to a water hole about 100 yards from there. I thought there was more deer traffic in that corner but alas.......there is not. But I would imagine the heat is keeping them from moving around very much ......
