I use StealthCam cameras and can say they are extremely valuable...On our 132 acres I have 15 cameras out... If you have "predictable" deer then I guess no need for you to use them... But for us where we have storms that uproot trees each year and logging projects that happen yearly it does change the deers "habits"...Plus on our property where we dont have a lot of food due to oak trees not producing that year, our property becomes a transition piece and the deer "wander" looking for food...Honestly the only habit our deer have is the direction they travel at sunrise and the direction they go at sunset...As for the exact place they will go it would be darn near impossible to guess without the cameras...Especially if youre bowhunting where the deer have to be in close... Because of my using cameras I was able to concentrate my stands where the activity was...Up till now I only had 4 cameras out...This year, due to cameras intel I went to 2 different places I never would have gone and it gave me my best year (a doe in bow season and a nice 6 pointer during gun season)... One other thing I use my cameras for is to gauge the coyote activity...I was able to see the increase in numbers this year along with actual visual sightings and I use this to place stands for taking these predators out as well... Just my 2 cents...
