Below is the address and information for the campground that we will be staying at. YOU NEED TO CALL and make a reservation even if you have already put your name on the list. This will be our 7th year staying and over the years they have been extremely nice to us. We will once again have a marked off section for archery shooting. Feel free to bring targets if you would like. Because we are guests and this is not something that they normally allow we must be sure to watch for other campers around us that are fishing or throwing horseshoes in the area. If you are shooting and see others heading towards these areas we will immediately stop shooting until they are gone. This is not negotiable. We are not willing to loose our privlidges because of this. I am still discussing with the campground our parking arrangements. The last few years our area has gotten extremely crowded because of all the tents and trucks. I am thinking that this year you can drop off your gear and get setup then we will move vehicles to the other side of the pond and park near the showers. Once I have this confirmed I will let everyone know. We will have a firepit that we all share and will be in need of firewood. If you are able to bring some please do.

    Camping Fees:

    Tent- weekday(Sun-Thur) $10 per day weekend(Fri-Sat) $22 per day

    Campers- weekday(Sun-Thur) $16 per day weekend(Fri-Sat) $27 per day

If you have any camping questions please feel free to contact me and I will be happy to answer or get an answer for you.

I am still waiting to hear back from them. It is still the off season for them and they aren't open yet so it is still tough getting ahold of someone. Soon as I have pricing I will let you know!

And if anybody is bring firewood try and purchase it within the state of Illinois, transporting firewood across state lines is frowned upon.

You can't bring firewood from other states? I've never heard that one before.

yup, same thing here in Wisconsin. In fact up here, your not even supposed to move stuff around the state because of the emeral ash borer. Makin a hell of a mess with ash trees. they've even banned it if in an affected area.

Ok, I spoke with the campground again this morning and they are asking that everyone calls and makes a reservation. This will help with the checkin process for everyone. The number and pricing is listed above on the first post. Sorry for this change but it's what the campground wants to do. When you call tell them you are with the bowhunting group.

***Camper*** guests be sure to mention that you have a camper and would like one of the spots I reserved for you already.

Do we still need some fire wood? We just cut up a couple trees so I can bring a truck load.
