Would you recommend one of these packages or should I buy all my own pieces and put it all together?

I based my set up off of one of their packages....added here and took away there. I bought some things from them, but def not all....I found that searching myself for specific items that were included in the package, that I was finding better prices and I ended up saving a good amount of money overall. Good Luck!

I buy most of my camera stuff from B&H. Great prices, best reputation, and solid customer support. I like that I can talor my gear to my specific needs that way.

I would also check Adorama. They tend to have great prices usually much better then Campbell's and B&H

The packages are nice but if you look around you can get things separately and save some money. I bought a tactical back pack from Walmart for 40 bucks and it holds all my gear just fine. Just depends on how much time you have.

You will save a lot of money piecing the package together yourself. Amazon is a great place to purchase almost everything.

I would say you could save by piecing it out, but I can also say that Campbell's has excellent customer service. I bought my newest camera from them and had it before just about anyone else on the country. They were very friendly and the best thing is they understand what we are doing so they can help cater more specific to your needs.

As Txbowhunter said..Amazon. I would copy and paste the items listed in the bundle straight into Amazon, put them all in your cart and figure a total.
