I don't know about anyone else, but I'm going to say it.

This campaign is really irking me. Obama's plan to tax the profits of big oil companies is insane. If you tax the profits of any company, all they will do is raise their prices to protect their profit margin. His idea that ethynol is causing the price of food to go up is also way outside the foul line to the left. The flooding in America's heartland is what is causing the crop prices to go up. The price of fuel is also causing food prices to go up. Ethynol has nothing to do with it.

McCain's plans have a lot of problems too. Instead of focusing on promoting alternate fuels for vehicles, lets put more oil derricks up along the coastlines. I watched a show on the science channel where a guy built an all electric vehicle that could go 500 miles before having to be recharged. It had a better off the line speed than Indy cars. McCain wants to build more nuclear power plants. More plants means more nuclear waste to deal with for thousands of years.

Instead of letting more and more "American" companies move their operations to third world countries and put countless Americans out of work, I say each item for sale at any store or dealership should have a sticker on it large enough for anyone to see without having to search stating where the product was made. Sad thing is while "American" automotive makers move their production plants outside of our borders, Toyota, Hyundai, Nissan, Honda, Hyundai, Kia, Samsung, and many others are building production plants here in the United States.

For those of you old enough to remember him, I say we need to dig up the corpse of Pat Paulsen and elect him. He may be dead, but at least he wouldn't be in the pocket of any big business and he wouldn't be saying stupid crap.

I've gotten it off my chest and thought I would feel better after I did, but I really don't but at least I spoke my small and hardly used mind.

I will agree with you on the state of our national politics. But it is no different than any other election.

There are no perfect men.. only perfect intentions.

Sadly.. capitalism is doomed to fail. It has to.

    I HATE POLITICS WITH A PASSION.:argue:

I WON'T VOTE FOR ANY OF THOSE LYING, CHEATING POLITICIANS, UNLESS I KNOW THEM PERSONALLY. THAT IS THE ONLY WAY I TRUST ANY OF THEM. AND I DON'T KNOW MANY OF THEM, SO NOT MANY GET MY VOTE. :smash:

There I feel better now. Not really but it felt good to say it.:usa:
