I've never hunted there myself but my dad has before. A zoo Is right. There's some monster buck there though. The archery state record NT was shot there either last year or the year before.

    Good luck.

I go every year I get drawn. Getting steep though 10 bucks just to apply. Saw one big buck there in all the years I have hunted it. Last year we hardly ever got set up as we kept walking in to set up and someone would already be there. After 4 times doing that your all sweaty, tired and bummed out. No cars around and guys get dropped off so it is chaos. Always a chance on a hog though. But they have more and more hunts now it seems. Veterans hunts, youth hunts all good things but there is not a big deer around every tree.

175 deer were taken the first day the biggest was 208# on the hook.
The 2nd day the DNR said 7 were taken by 2pm when I left.
I saw 3 deer, 1 record book and 1 130 class 10 point and a young doe. All were relaxed with no pressure where I was hunting. The 21st morning I had two hunters set up on either side of me 1/2 hour after legal shooting.
