Been using ASAT in the early season and Predator Fall Grey in the late season. This year I'm adding some Kuiu Vias for early season. This may be my favorite Camo pattern yet. Not only do I like the pattern but in doing some field testing, I've had both whitetails and mule deer look straight through from the ground. Pretty impressed. Rudy
Open patterns are best when there is little to no cover, especially when in a situation to be sky lighted. Asat, ,predator, sitkas forest and to some extent ultimate camo. (You just blend into the trees so well with it) Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk 2
Had no idea Lost Camo supported Christian missionaries, mite have to look into that, big ol double thumbs up on your priorities.
The mission archery line under the mathews brand also goes to help spread the gospel and establishes churches throughout the world. A lotta folks complain about how "expensive" mathews bows are and how much they dominate in marketing their products. but in reality their flagships bows are no more expensive than any other manufacturers and in my opinion they give a whole lot back to the community. They also give a lot of archery equipment to schools to help get kids interested in archery. They're a great company in my opinion.
I'm going to go out with my old OEF uniform pants anda tan t shirt. I'll use dead down wind got scent control
Have realtree in my scent-lok full season and I have break up infinity in my Under Armour Ridge Reaper, along with some bottom lands for the under armour. They both have their advantages.. to me I dont really care what the camo looks like.. I want the best fitting, most durable and versatile camo I can have. Thats why I love the Ridge Reaper series.
I noticed a lot of people wear jeans and regular color shirts in the summer to check trail cams and hang stands. some people just wear their regular hunting camo. Its very humid where I'm at and i can't stand wearing sticky jeans in the woods for more than a few mins and deffinitely not hanging stands. I'm just not as limber when off the ground. i. have always worn camo bdu's from an army surplus store. Normally they're around twenty bucks a pair and come in all sizes and colors and blend very well. not to mention the comfort factor and the fact you can climb, bend, and stretch much better than normal attire. they don't wear out for a very long time either.
I also was unaware of that. Almost all of my newer gear (except my Mission bow in Lost) is Realtree AP, but that's mostly b/c it's an available option on most any item by any manufacturer, it looks good, and functions well in any terrain/weather I hunt. For those of you who say that camo is over stressed/overmarketed; I partially agree- for deer. However, as any one who turkey hunts will tell you, full camo (or being inside a CAMO popup) is a necessity. Those sharp eyed suckers will bust you sure as crap if you're out there in anything less than full camo; much less a red flannel and blue jeans. Even if you are Dan Fitzgerald.
