My next new bow will be all black with red accents probably. I think it looks sick! Sent from my SPH-M900 using Tapatalk
Black for sure looks cool but I was wondering if the black would look better from the ground to a deer than camo - might even help break up my outline some. Clearly would look better in a ground blind from the outside where black is your friend.
I personally don't think it would make much of a difference to the deer. If it did I think less people wpuld get them. Sent from my SPH-M900 using Tapatalk
Yea I am a details guys so every decision must be processed before to see if there is any advantage to be gained. This is the addiction. Leaning towards black myself.
I can't find the link right now but there is a video on here of when Justin Zarr went to the Mathews factory and he talks about the black bows and how hard they are to see and that they were having trouble spotting the bow when doing the promo shoot for the Z7. I will do some more looking and try to find the link for you.
I say get whatever you thinks look better. I'll bet you could probably kill a deer with a hot pink bow if you wanted to.
Get both. Elite's AT option gives you Realtree AP, Max1 or Snow limbs with a black riser. It breaks up the form of the bow better in a tree and with the limbs being parallel they can't be seen from front on when the bow is drawn in a blind, and it looks cool!
Doesn't make a difference. I personally like the black riser/camo limb combination. Here's a picture of my bow 20 mins before I killed my buck last night.
I like the way you think. LOL... Same color combo on my Destroyer 350... take apart your stabilizer and wrap your rods in green. That's what I did to my 12" Super Stix.
my bowtech 82nd airborne has black limbs and camo riser, black stabilizer. I like the black and camo mixture.
I'm looking myself and feel I should like the black riser better but I don't. Think I'm going with an all Camo Mathews MR6 next. Have a M6 with a Camo risers and black limbs now.
