    hey guys,

ive decided to get some new clothin for next year. my problems comes in the patterns. i hunt in southeast virginia, normally on cutovers, woods, and large soy bean/corn fields, most trees are hardwoods that im hanging from. i have decided what i want and i can get some lightweight scent lok stuff for pretty cheap. but the problem comes in the pattern. the pants i can get are seclusion 3d, which i believe to be a little darker and maybe not the best for the fields and the pullover ive found is mossy oak break up. what are the feelings on mixing the patterns and which pattern would serve me best. thanks for any help, cuz rite now its a toss up.

I don't want to sound like I'm shoving anything down your throat, but it is what I use and what I believe. Hence, why I wrote the article.

But you'll get a lot of different responses. A lot of guys on here use Predator. I can see why, although I have never worn the pattern. Trebark also does an effective job I learned, in my Pre-Treestand days.

Gotta do whatcha gotta do. If the price is right, and it fits......go for it.

Having said that, I'm not a fan, at all, of MOBU. The stuff looks like a giant black blob from 20 yards away. Hell, even the Drury's don't wear it anymore. And if THEY ditched it.......I'm just sayin. :)

yeah i have looked at the treestand and do agree with u but with money how it is it is tight but i definatly dont want to waste it. my only other choice is advantage timber but i could only get the pants. i can get a different top cheap to match the MOBU but that top is not my first choice. i will be buy the stuff 2nd hand, but basically new and hardly used, from a buddy and his dad who have stopped hunting and have too much stuff. If i went with the timber i would like to match instead of looking like 5 different thing in the tree. i do appreciate the help guys and any help with this descion would be helpful becuase i gotta make up my mind and act soon.

maybe ill just write santa a wish list.

For that price.......Get what ya can and be done with it. The pattern don't matter near as much as location and sitting still.

I have Treestand camo right now, but I am in the process of switching over to Predator fall gray. I think it is all in what you like and what works for you.
