I have 2 different camo make-up (sounds gay) options, and I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with either of them? I want to use the one that's easiest to remove. They are Hunter's Specialities Camo Compac (the one with the mirror) and Realtree's APG Camo FX in stick form. Thanks for any insight. I only mess with this stuff during the rut, when I actually care how I look.

Jeff, I have them both and they clean off with soap and water pretty good, but lately I've been using a wine cork...light it on fire...let it burn for 10-20 seconds..blow out and wait a sec....and bingo...free face camo...only one color, obviously ..

I use the compac one with the mirror. I use wet wipes to clean it off, works great

Wine cork works awesome. Also baby wipes or a dab of baby oil on a wash rag takes face paint off super easy.

Absolutely! Easier than ANY makeup I have tried...now I can't promise it will make you look this handsome, :D but you can put it on as heavy or light as you want ...

Can the wine cork help with the grey hair or are you trying look all swagger like? I'm not there yet in case you're wondering.

I'm gonna have to give the wine cork a try. I hate how greasy most of the commercial paint is

I could easily be wrong about this, but I seem to remember a discussion on another forum a year or two back that concluded with burnt cork being carcinogenic. Might be worth a little research...

this is the opposite of greasy...

so is a grill...smoked meats ...etc....it is harmless and I bet a whole lot more harmless than the chemicals from the other face paint...

I have found that the black Halloween make up for kids at Walmart is super cheap right after Halloween and washes off with warm water. I usually buy it on clearance for $.50 a tube. If it is safe enough for kids to put on, it is good enough for me. I use it for deer, turkey and duck hunting. Works great!

Carbo Mask is what I've been using the last couple years. It's light (non-greasy) and comes off easier than anything I've tried.

I might try the cork thing when it runs out.
