I dont have any cameras on my main hunting land! Just at home where we have mabey 15 huntable acres I usually move about 3 cams down on the main hunting property during the summer! but right now its only the 15 acres here at home and I have i think 8 or 9 cameras on it! lol Its a bit of over kill but what can i say its fun! Now not all of them are coverts but they all work! lol
3 in about 400, a lot of the ground I hunt is farm or pasture ground though. Probably will have more eventually but there's no need to go crazy and get a lot of pics of cows ha.
I had 14, now 15...cameras on about 2700 acres since mid-September this year. We're planning on doubling that number in 2014 but I'm pretty sure we'll be using blackflash cams for the additional ones. This years were all moultries and added a cheap but good Bushnel that was gifted to me the other day. I set it up at the grainery two evenings ago to see what deer are hammering the spilled grain. I had 20 pics on it this morning but didn't pull the card.
We have 8 right now. It will be 12 maybe 13 come january on a few thousand acres. Have access to 8000 acres with the hunt club and anothe 1200 or so i can hunt with bow. We might have hunted a few hundred acres this past year. This next year i hope to have an idea of what is in the area of about 1/3 of the pieces we have access too. Or atleast until we find a handful of places to hunt that keep our interest
