How many cameras do you run? On how many acres?

Right now I run 1 MPE5 but I just ordered 2 more, so by the end of December I will be running 3 cams on 22 acres.

Sorry for the typo in the title :busted:

Depends on how much money you have. As long as the best areas are covered the number of cameras is personal preference.

I've always heard you should have one camera per 10 acres but I would say that would depend on the layout of the property. I've got nearly 200 acres but I only monitor the areas I plan on hunting.

I have zero cameras in my operation. I might forget where in the back country I may have placed it.

I'm running 6 on 40 acres. I have one more that I need to send in for repair or replacement, so I should have 7 running.

The parcels we hunt have a lot of tillable acres attached. If we are adding the total parcel that number would be huge, maybe 750 or more? Not really sure. What I would consider huntable acres, maybe 150 acres? I have 4 cameras out at the moment. I will have a minimum of 5 starting January 1st.

I run 6 cams on a 148 acre farm but only hunt about 20-30 acres of woodland because the rest is cedars.
