I have 2 Covert Red 40's, both of them set up over mineral sites. It is not unusual to get 4000 pics on each cam in one week. I have both of them set to take 2 pics, and then wait 60 seconds before it takes another one. What do you set your cams for when setting them over a mineral site?

That's the same settings I use Darren but I've been thinking of changing them when I've got it out over some kind of attractant. Too many unwanted pics.

I have mine set about the same as well, maybe a shorter duration before it's ready again. Figured I would keep it that way and just went with bigger SD cards. Absolutely hate thinking I am missing something that stops in just for a moment. As far as when I go through them I tag or rate the pics I want to keep and then later just delete all the rest.

My coverts are set on low right now with all the sun the cams are getting with 2 shot burst and a 5 sec recovery, also my cams are black flash here,I have even blacked out my red 40 for more covert action. Now if I can just kill 100 raccoons

No kidding! They are really getting bad here. I had to spray out the gutters on my trailer this weekend and when I got up on the roof there were tons of raccoon tracks up there. There are no trees around my trailer so they must be climbing up the posts of my deck.

My new cam is set up with a 3pic burst. I have it sitting over a freshly made mineral site. I'm really fighting the urge to go check it. Its only been sitting since Friday morning. I may use the " I wanna change the settings on it" excuse to go check it and change it to a single pic with a 5sec interval. Haha.

It will take 7-12 seconds to write the pic to the card
