Camera saved by bear box

I know you guys are not going to believe me because I do not have pictures because my dad was the one to check my camera but anyways. I had my camera out in the woods and we had some bad storms come through knocking trees down all over our property. One tree happened to come down and hit the tree with my camera on it. It broke the python cable and I had to bend the bear box a little bit back to the original shape. Thankfully the mp6 is still okay. Sure glad I got them lock boxes for my cameras.

Has this ever happened to you?

I will try to get some pictures when I am at the cabin on Wednesday.

 

I dont have any cameras out yet (mines coming in the mail ) so it hasnt happened to me but thats pretty crazy- never really thought that would happen. Making me reconsider buying a lock box....

Wow. Glad you had it and that your camera is ok.

 

last year my tree came down and my stand got crushed. ive had a run of bad luck with equipment.

 

Glad you did loose the cam!

 

forgot what forum, but a a guy had a the tree his camera was on/bear box fall down.
