This was my first check in my primary hunting ground. I couldnt resist and checked the cameras after a week. Now that I got that out of my system, I will let them sit for two or three weeks before I check again. This is the only buck that I am excited about. What do you think he will score? He is a 5 x 4 and I am thinking about 125. Please tell me he is bigger!
Sometimes it's hard for me to accurately guess a score while there in the velvet but I'd say he may go 130s. Good luck. Blessings.......Pastorjim
Back in the 70's I had a friend who lived in Yankton. We used to go party at a bar along the Missouri River not too far outside of town. Those photos and seeing you're from there made me think about it.
I bet he went to the Cottonwood bar! It is also known as the Shipwreck. It is right next to Lewis and Clark lake and draws a pretty good local crowd.

I have seen a couple of hunting shows where they are at some outfitter by Piedmont. Most of the bucks have been pretty legit there. Do you associate with them at all?
I wish we was a 5x5 for you. Then you'd be talkin mod to high 130s. He's still pushing 130-132 id say as a gross score. Great lookin buck brother! Hope you get him and can tell us how close we were!
I know, a 5x5 he would be a no doubter. I cant be too picky though, I would be blessed to get this guy on the ground.
