Decided to sit in an area that I got a picture of a buck we call Billy the Kid all day on Saturday with one of my buddies. We got in about an hour before daylight and got everything setup. About 10 minutes before shooting light we had two does come through that offered the perfect opportunity to double on. 15 yards broadside without anything in the way. They're lucky they didn't come through about 20 minutes later. From 7-730 we saw 2 more deer, heard 2-4 more walking, and also heard a fight. He had to leave at 10 so we climbed down at 940 and decided to move our stands to where all of the deer walked past, about 60 yards to the west of where we had previously been. After he left I got back in the stand at about 1130. Decided to turn the can over a couple times and a couple minutes later had a spike and Billy the Kid come running to 50 yards. The spike dissappeared but Billy the Kid walked around and completely circled me. Saw nothing the rest of the day. Got back in bright and early on Sunday, and saw at least 10 different deer from 640-10, including Billy the Kid running a doe. I decided that I would be more proud of this little 80-90 inch buck this weekend on this farm, than I would shooting a bigger buck on a different farm that my brother and dad will be at. So I'm deciding to hunt him again this weekend, hopefully he makes a mistake!
