I should know this but I don't. How do you test or find out if your cam is indeed slipping?

    Thanks,

    slippery cam

might notice fletching contact, may look like timing issues like your bow is throwing the arrow down, or up as its released, you might even have just a timing issue not the cam slipping.

Can this occur with single cam bows?

Cam slipping? How old are the strings? Most bows these days come with marks of some kind on the cams...take a pic with your phone a save it...usually when you have new strings put on and give them a few shots and get the bow timed and set up. Then watch the marks as you shoot, if you need a referance to see what if looked like refer to the picture you had taken and you will be able so see if the strings are stretching...not the cam slipping. If you dont have timing marks on the cams take a marker and make a line where the buss cable crosses the bottom cam. If you have a dual or hybirid you can also do this to the top.

Care to expand on what exactly you mean by slipping?

If you talking about string stretch yes, just guessing you need a new one.

to see if their was such a thing.

    Thanks,

I do not know much about this subject but I do believe it can happen on single cam bows
