Getting back into hunting again after a 15 year hiatus. I know . . . 15 years. What kind of calls are you guys using?

I use M.A.D. calls. I think they are the most realistic calls out there. I carry the Growl/grunt call and the Heat Bleat. Both work extremely well for me.

For the past 7-8 years I was using the Tru Talker from Hunters Specialties. This year however I picked up a Buck Roar from Primos and plan on giving it a shot.

I have both also. I'd have to say Tru Talker hands down, although the Buck Roar will get very loud when you need it to. I carry both. Other than that a good bleat and rattle horns ( real antlers if possible).

I had a tru talker and loved it, but last year I let my brother use it and it turned to him having it so I bought a flex tone and I also like it, but if you hunt when it gets very cold the flex tone tends to freeze up for me where as the tru talker never did. I think it is because the flex tone has a plastic reed and the tru talker has a wooden reed.
