The only thing I'm sayin' is that I've got a goat tag, I've got 4 days off and I've got the bow dialed in...

Ok...I'm gonna do it...I am calling my shot :)

Tomorrow morning I will kill a P&Y buck with my bow!

I'm thinking that if I fail nobody will really remember my bold prediction anyway ;)

However...IF I am successfull in completing my goal...I will look like a Hero!

I'd like to say I'll kill another one tomorrow, but I'm not even going out. I'm hitting some public land in the mountains all day Friday. I like my odds of SEEING deer, whether it's something that is going to trip my trigger or not, I don't know lol.

As far as me killing another deer here, I don't think it's going to happen for a few weeks yet. I'm still waiting on my buddies to simmer down about me killing my buck. LOL.

I'll take at least one more deer before this year is over though. I'm tired of letting does walk and I need some more jerky meat!

I'm going to jinx my brother and call his shot for him. My tag is full but tomorrow we are going out to try and fill is. Two days in a row we have seen a big one walk down the same path. Tomorrow morning we are going in to get him. We are Canadian so don't have tomorrow off like most you lucky people, but we are taking the morning off anyway. We only have 5 days of hunting left out here so he better get something.

Well, I guess I really jinxed myself. I couldn't even get K out of bed. Didn't seem right to go off hunting on Thanksgiving day without him so.... I'm sitting on the couch, playing on the internet.

The day is still young. A wayward deer might wander out of the corn and into the yard. Extraordinarily unlikely... but still, I look out the window every now and then. You know, just to be sure. :)

17 mph wind with blowing snow/sleet outside. Can't say I'm really missing it Bob.

I hate calm real frosty mornings !! Was absolutely dead this morning except for the old fart who lives in that area and thinks the deer are all his. He was driving up and down the road trying to figure out where I was hunting. LOL I was well off the road so it didn't effect me. I was actually hoping he would push a few deer my way... but nada.

Going to head back out there this afternoon.

No! You couldn't. When you can not only hear the wind(and the sleet hitting the window), you can feel it shake the house, not a good time to be sitting 20ft up a tree. IMHO
