I have consistently called in smaller decent bucks and doe's this season but I just haven't been able to bring in the bigger deer yet. I was at a different stand location than normal this morning and glassed a real nice shooter 8-point with a good amount of mass at 307 yards. I tried a few grunt's and even mixed in an estrous bleat between some of the grunt's, but nothing got its attention to the point of it wanting to check it out. I tired a more aggressive grunt and it seemed to respond to it but never made the turn for my direction. I don't know if its something I'm doing wrong, using the wrong sequence, over calling, or maybe its just not meant to be this particular morning. Either way, I have put in a dozen all day sit's and I'm getting frustrated with myself and I'm just seeking some wisdom from you veteran bow hunters. I'm still new to the game of bow hunting so I'm all ears with any advice. Thank's guys!
