Calling in deer blind. does it work??

    This time of year is it worth me doe bleating. I have had it work last year in the second week of oct.

    I have yet to shoot a deer this year just all ways 1 reason or another that it hasn't happend. I go hunting 4 times a week at least and see something almost every time. What am i doing wrong ?

    Without going into a lot of detail....... blind calling works. Doe bleats, grunt call and rattling all work. You just have to know where you're at with the rut in your area. For example, in my area the bucks are starting to breed heavily. They are not really wanting to leave a sure thing for a fight. I've heard that sometimes a fawn distress call will sometimes get a doe to respond and bring a buck with her. If a buck is on the search and hears light grunting or light rattling, he may investigate. After peak breeding I would start cranking up the aggressiveness of the calling.
