Xoutdoors how many bucks have you killed 150" or bigger? Hell 140" and bigger?

 

Is that all you think of in your head. going by inches to determine if there big. I got plenty of nice ones on my wall. Tell me this do you become a better hunter hunting in a state that has alot of big bucks vs the guys that hunt in a state that has sheer deer numbers and still tags big bucks??

 

You talk about it being easy but you have also said a 2 1/2 year old is a trophy.

 

Most of my hunting is in MN so I don't know what your talking about as usual.

 

I thought I was reading a NY outdoors forum for a minute.

 

I just found out that I hunt in an "easy" state!!!! Contrary to MoBuckChaser, there's not a P&Y behind every tree in this state either. If you have access to the top 1% of land in Missouri, then yeah, it's probably pretty easy. The rest of us deal with fairly high hunter density, small parcel and minimal amounts of timber. We deal with out of stater's coming in leasing up property at crazy prices because they are guaranteed a tag every single year. The MDC might do a lot of things right, but they sure don't manage for trophy bucks.
