Man I need to figure out how to get a new Military ID. I haven't had one in probably 14 years.

I checked and you have to serve at least 20 years to be eligable for a Military ID. BULL$%&# Not a big deal I still have a million copies of my DD FORM 214 that I can break out at moments notice.

I'm waiting on an e-mail response from CE. If I actually get a response I'll post the info on here. If there actually is a discount that big and it also applies to retirees then I might actually order some Maxima Hunter KV 350s to see how they do.

I just received the e-mail from Carbon Express, and I must say that the discount prices for military are impressive. The price on a dozen Maxima Hunter KV 350 shafts is $84.64. The price per dozen pre-fletched is $90.91. Everything on thier list is similarly discounted.

Thier e-mail didn't actually specify if ex-military and retirees are eligible for this discount, so I posed that question and I'm waiting for their response.

Even if they don't include retirees and ex-military, Carbon Express has earned my respect.

Well, it was a bit like pulling teeth to get a straight answer, but putting it plainly, if you have a military ID, active duty, retired or otherwise, you get the discount.

Sweet, there are a lot of places that give discounts to active military, but very few that extend that to retirees! CE has got my attention and respect both!

I get a nice discount through Sitka, Vortex Optics has a discount but it seems to go through a funky third party and takes forever to get your stuff.
