This was my first try calling in a coyote and to my surprise one came in within minutes.
He never came out into the open or gave me a shot with the bow but it was exciting all the same.

(Note to self: Don't listen to that at work! Whoopsy, lol)

Good job calling him in. Are you trying to get rid of some before deer season?

I wish you had gotten him.

Hang a squirrel tail on a limb at a yotes eye level... I hear this can help bring them on in, especially if it is windy.

Nice work! I have never even seen a live coyote.

Thanks. Yeah, I was hopping to shoot a squirrel or raccoon for that reason. I'm using this Casscreek wagger call with remote that works great but the tail doesn't move that quick so i got the Mojo critter to add to my arsenal:)

I noticed when the yote came in nothing else was moving or making a sound. Kind of a last day hunt hunt.

I had another one surprise me last month by walking by my stand but my cam hit my tree saw when I draw back and he took off like a shot.
This guy was only 5 yards below me for 20min and it would have been a done deal with a shot gun. Saw flashes of him a few times through the bushes.

Cant wait to get back. Got plans for a Coyote skin for my camper.

I haven't caught yotes on camera yet, so I don't believe we have a coyote problem here.

It's open season here, So I keep a couple spare old BH in my quiver encase one trots by while I'm in the stand.
