    can you twist cables on newer bows to increase draw weight?

    i wouldn't recommend doing anything its not "intended" to do, to many injuries already this year why be a statistic? Be safe !!

    Yes you can. Your bow manufacture probably has tune charts to give you an idea what any change will do to your bow. You can change draw weight, length, and feel of the bow to a degree. Its always recommended to record all changes you do so it can be reversed back to original if needed.

    Technically no one could stop you from doing so, however, if you want to be safe just don't do it. Bow strings and cables are pre-twisted to work specifically within your bow's length and draw weight range. Most aftermarket string makers advise you not to change the twist on your cables.

    How much weight are you looking to add/subtract? What is the reasoning? What is your bows peak DW now? How about axle to axle length and brace height?
