Well PABuck HNTR, myself and another friend heading to Colorado, made the journey today to Cabela's in West Virginia to help out the economy:D and grab some goodies.

Great deal, spend $500 and get an gift card for $150 to spend immediately (which we did)

Always impressed with the whitetail gallery, and the good ole' smoked sammie (couldn't pass that up)...

I actually drew a New Mexico 16B Archery tag so I may miss Colorado. However, if I get a lucky, I will head up to Colorado to hunt a few days and be camera boy for my friends who will be where I was last year.

Thanks and I will be sure to post up some pics when I return.

What part of New Mexico elk? My mom was born in Los Alamos, NM and raised in Alamogordo. My uncle also lives in Albuquerque.

We will actually stay in Albrquerque before heading down near Truth or Consequences which is the closest town we will be by...from there we head over towards the Gila :D

Good luck elknut. Bring a set antlers back along with a ton of meat and memories, not to mention the pics.
