Anybody have any experience with Cabelas Lazer Strike ll mechanical broadheads?
I have this $25 gift certificate that's been laying around for about a year I figured I'd get it used up.
$20 for 3. If they are worth a damn it's a good price.

I have looked at the fixed blade Lazers before and if I remember correctly the reviews were pretty bad. Guys saying they fly bad was a big issue. I cant say if this is a reflection of the mechanical ones or not.

I have not tried the cabelas but I am sold on the Red Head Gators from Bass Pro...I have used the rage and never had a problem with them other than opening in my quiver. I will put the gator up against it or any other 2 blade mechanical. 3 Different companies came out with similar broadheads to it this year. NO orings , spider clips, etc....It just flat out works and the reviews don't lie....

Well I went ahead and ordered them. I couldn't really come up with anything else I wanted right now from cabelas so I used up my gift card on these.
They are the o-ring type which I know has gotten some bad press from some people but after reading a bunch of the reviews on their site I think they are gonna be decent.
