I've gotten one for the past 5-6 years. Thought I was special at first, then I thought why would a frigging catalog be limited edition? Should be limited pricing. Then it says to leave if no response, keep looking for the knock for delivery instruction but yet to find it.

Figure like the excess phonebooks I had(who uses those anymore?), I'll wrap it in tape and stick a target sticker on it for a BB gun in the basement.

Ive never gotten one but agree... cabelas and bass pro are highly overpriced on just about everything. Only time I shop there is if I need something right away and dont want to wait for shipping.

I like throwing my money away. Make it rain.

For big ticket items, with their shipping prices, they are solid (so is amazon...not so much with ebay). Everything I bought in my order history the last six months was either not available elsewhere or priced better on Cabelas minus my TRS-25 (had a $25 rebate to make it priced along with other retailers), and let's just say I was very active on their site in those 6 months.

You can find good deals at Cabelas. I just got a $239 Moultrie spreader for $89.

Good deals can be found and the customer service has always been great. I will pay a little extra on some things just for the warm fuzzy feeling of knowing I can return it without a bunch of hassle if it has an issue.

Doesn't everyone spend at least a couple hundred $ at Cabela's annually and get one?

I don't think I've ever ordered anything from Cabelas. I try to buy locally when I can, if not, I usually order from Sportsmans Guide or Amazon.

I used to buy stuff from Sportman's Guide, then they started charging tax on merchandise and shipping. How can you charge tax on shipping?

As do I...maybe I should have reworded my post. They are fair priced on most items.

I got mine. Threw it in the trash due to a legal issue I am currently in with Cabelas. They may or may not get my business back when this is over. It's already cost them quite a bit of business.

We've been gettin them for the past 5 years and for all the 4 seasons of the year. I never buy something at regular price. I go straight to the bargain cave. They have some good cheap stuff their.
