Got me a new grinder. If i ever shoot a deer i will update on how well it works. Out of the box it looks extremely heavy duty and well made. Came with a bunch of sausage accessories too. Weighs just under 50 lbs. The ice pack around the tube seems to be a very clever idea as well! Sent from my SM-G920P using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
I picked up some meat tubs as well since I've never had any Sent from my SM-G920P using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
My buddy has that same one and that baby is a meat eating machine. As fast as you can throw meat in it is ground, nice buy.
Nice one! I've been using the carnivores little brother from Cabela's for two seasons now. I don't have a bad thing to say about it! You'll love it. Good luck this season.
All i can say is wow. Just did 2 deer. Did it once with the bigger holes then again with the smaller and ended with a perfect mix of ground meat. I couldn't even put the meat in fast enough before it was grinding it out already. Never even skipped a beat like my other $90 grinder. Sent from my SM-G920P using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
The cool tek ice pack stayed cold through 2 deer. I also had my beef frozen cut into chunks while grinding. Sent from my SM-G920P using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Nice! I may want to upgrade from what I currently have, but have not seen the need as of yet, but it's only a matter of time. What model did you go with, I know they go from 0.5hp up to 1.75hp?
I have the .75HP. The thing about it is this thing pumps out meat much faster and more efficiently then the cheaper 1hp grinders. I believe the HP does not play near as big as a part as I had always thought. I have put 3 deer this year since I bought it through it and it works amazing. I do highly recommend it even if you only do 2-3 deer a year. I considered it to be a long term investment.
