So I went to Cabela's today to look for boots and wasn't getting very far. Found some I liked and was looking for 400gram boots that were comfortable. Since the bargain cave was right around the corner I stopped in and there they were in 11.5 and mossy oak camo, priced down from 139.99 to 61.99!! 600 grams of insulation, gore tex and Scentcrock to boot. I love when you find what you want in the bargain cave!

Very nice boots especially at that price. The leather on them might hold alot of negative scent though.

I was thinking I might swing by there next week one evening! Want to meet up for some cocktails at Buffalo Wild Wings one night?

Ain't that the truth!! I wondered over there one day while working their big show last month and was sorely disappointed. Felt like I was shopping a leftover JC Penny sale than looking through Cabela's merchandise. :(

That's because they had guys like Mobow coming in there all the time. I was only in there for 15 minutes with him and they wanted to kick us out because he smelled bad.

RWK, I like the boots... a lot!!

For the record this was the first time I got a major find at the bargain cave at any Cabela's. To be honest the prices in the cave usually aren't anything to jump up and down about. It ain't a bargain until you pass that 50% off status in my book:cool:

Fergus- Let me and Doc know when your going and I'll try to get over there for whatever the heck you are eating (Roostertails?)

That is funny that the filter changed that word on me. I didn't even notice that until you said something. LOL

My dad talked to one of the guys there and they said that it was only going to be open until September because they wanted to see how it did before they opened it up for good.

The key is you need to offer bargains. Nocking 5 bucks here and 10 bucks there is no bargain.
