I ordered two dozen uncut GT CAA 400s about three months ago wanting to try something new from my ACCs. Well, they're STILL sitting in the boxes. Heck, I haven't even shot my bow since I ordered them. I'm wondering if I should actually give these a try or not? Honestly, other than their component system, I don't see any advantage to them over my ACCs (and the QC of Easton seems to be a bit higher than that of GT). I suppose these aren't really getting me too fired up if I haven't even bothered building them, yet, and I still have about 10 ACCs left (although slightly weak in spine and not enough to cut shorter...which incidentally is why I originally went with these new shafts).

If it were me, well for one I'd have messed with them by now.:deer: But all joking aside, you did buy them for a reason. I would cut 3 of them and see if your reason was justified. Unless you are sending them back to a company,(for a full refund) you will still get decent money for 21 shafts. If it were me, I'd want to know if my original thinking was correct.:d

I bought them used for a good deal, so I'm pretty sure I could sell them for a good price, but yeah, I suppose I could get them built...at least a few. Might have to make a trip to Poorguy's shop.

Cut a couple and bare shaft test them to see if they do what you need/want.
