Too bad.... he's purdy. LOL What in the heck do they expect..... it's Illinois. They're not suppose to be good or competitive. At least not in football.

Zook should of been gone some time ago.

He's a pretty good recruiter, but I can't say the same for him being a coach. He did get us to the Rose Bowl a couple years ago though....

I was watching the U of I basketball game, and saw this news flash on the bottom of the screen. I could have gone Southern Baptist: Can I get an AMEN?

I told my wife a couple of weeks ago that 75% of the problems revolved around Special Teams (poor kick coverage, muffed punts, etc.) giving the other team a short field. At least early, the offense was solid (not great). The defense has played really well, but anyone will struggle when the other team frequently gets the ball already in the red zone (or close to it). I told her the Special Teams coach had to go.

Zook personally coached the Special Teams

As long as Ohio State is in the Big 10, there will at least be competition. We'll see what happens also with the scrutiny at Penn State over the free passes that were given to "student" athletes in JoePa's tenure (I use the term "student" in the loosest possible sense of the word).
