I am wanting to buy a new bow this year since a lot of sweet bows have been coming out, but ive realized recently that i am left eye dominant. i have bow hunted right handed for 8 yrs but am noticing it is hard to look through my peep sight. Should I switch to left handed?

From what I have read from most left eye dominant people, you should switch. There are a few on here that are left eye dominant that should be able to help you out in more detail.

There are ways to shoot opposite your eye dominance but IMHO you better off shooting with your dominant eye once everything is said and done.

There are a couple guys on here that has made the switch I'm sure they'll chime in. :)

Thanks for your input. I had my eyes checked and my right eye seems a little worse than my left. I have noticed my eye dominance since I bought my current bow about 4 years ago. This season has been a struggle. I have to pull my eye away from the peep to see what the deer is doing because when I aim I dont have a big sight picture. Its getting frustrating.

I'm a left eye dominant righty and I've always shot bows lefty, it just feels comfortable to me.

Haha Id hope so. Im just worried about the weight issue. I know I wont be able to pull back nearly as much. Still enough to kill a deer tho!

Thanks for the help. I think I will be going to my bow shop and trying to shoot one. At least I'm still young so it shouldnt be to hard to get used to
