    Hey guys,

I am in the market for a new bow. I have not been out to shoot all of them yet but obviously that is my last step. I am 22 and have been shooting for 15 years so I am confident that I can shoot any bow on the market. I really like the Creed XS because I hunt some dense areas in Southern Michigan and I think the short axle to axle will be great. My only concern is that the main reason I am upgrading from my 6ish year old Martin Bengal is to increase my max range. Right now I feel like with its speed my absolute max range is 40 yards (I practice to 70 but would obviously not take that shot). With the new bow I want to be comfortable shooting 40-45 and have a max of 50-55 under ideal conditions.

My question for anyone who owns the XS is whether the slower speed with the solocam and shorter ATA still allow some longer shots without a massive arrow drop or if I will have to go with something with a shorter brace height like the Chill R with dual cams.

Thanks for any input or experience you guys may have!

what poundage are you shooting and what is your draw length? The Creed XS is more than capable of flinging an arrow that far. The question is do you have the kinetic energy. If you are shooting a good fixed blade or cut on contact broadhead that should not be an issue either.

    GA and ?
I know you are asking about Mathews in particular but......

I have shot PSE pro series bows for years and have no compaints.. My new bow is MARTIN NEMESIS NITRO and really like it.. It is fast enough quiet and shoots great. The Martin Nemesis Nitro. The Nemesis Nitro features a bridged riser with a bow hook, twin limbs and Mossy Oak camo. The Nemesis Nitro produces speeds up to 330 fps and has an axle-to-axle length of 35 inches I hunt some ppretty thick stugg in GA and the 35" A2A has not been an issue., combined with a brace height of 7 inches. At only 3.8 pounds..
Here is mine and a stock photo.. 4 for 4 on deer with it this year...

    DON'T GIVE UP ON MARTIN................

29" draw at 65lbs currently and using Rage 3 blade so I believe I've got plenty of kinetic energy to penetrate.
