I just bought a 06' Tribute. I saved the money for it, really didn't need it, but man I love those bows!
I have a General already but couldn't let this one get away!

Bows and guns go hand in hand right? People collect bows right?

Just tell me I did the right thing. hahaha:D

I have discovered the BowTech addiction as well..... second one on a month to month until a buddy gets his Distroyer 350 paid for. And then his Guardian is mine. I'm thinking about putting a Distroyer 350 on layaway as well.

Well, I don't know if I am the one to give advice. I have been shooting for about a year ahd have bought nine bows, still have seven and an Elite Ninja Z28 was shipped to me today. I have a 2007 Tribute and it is tied for my favorite bow spot. The other is the APA Viper. When I got my Tribute from the original owner, I accused him of selling me a 60lb bow instead of the 70lb Tribute he had advertised. He had it at around 64 and I cranked it down tight. Shoot it everyday at that weight for fun. Draws like 62-64. In fact the reason I bought my Elite was because I heard they were the smoothest bows you can buy and that the owner designed the Tribute. I have never shot a bow that I did not buy and had never shot. The two I sold were an 08 and 09 Dream Season. Just did not like the draw although they were the steadiest bows I ever shot. I could hold a pin on a target all day. Bought the second one to resell as I got it for a ridulous price on my local Craig's list. I seem to be averaging about one bow per month.

Before anyone says I am a PSE basher, I still have two of them.

    Bob

I think I need to get in on this idea of collecting bows.

Sounds too good to pass up.;)

I know I am probably the exception here. But, I have bowhunted for 30 years and I am currently using the 6th bow I have ever owned. I hate swithching bows. Once I get comfortable with a set-up I like, I use it for several years. I am not a fan of tinkering with equipment. I get a bow set up to shoot great and I leave it alone. I picked my bow up for the first time the other day since I shot a doe in late November. A few practice shots with broadheads, dead on. I changed the blades and started turkey hunting. I love to bowhunt, I dont really get a lot of enjoyment out of messing with bows. It is a confidence thing with me. I never have any thoughts about equipment or missing when I draw on an animal. I know a lot of you guys love the shooting and tinkering aspect of archery, but for me, its the hunting. The bow is just utility. I am currently using the original Mathews Switchback and really dont see the need to make a change for some time.

    Bow

I enjoy archery and bowhunting and I think along the same lines as firearms. Many of us have 2 or 3 12's, rifles and pea shooters. So, for me bows are my "thing". I think I'm going down the same path! :D

I see myself bowhunting for the rest of my life and spending my cash on something I enjoy...I see nothing wrong with it. As I always say it's better to spend your money on hunting than drugs! :p
