Thata boy!! I had a doe at 36 yards on Sunday night but had a branch in the way. I'm headed out either Tuesday night or Wednesday night for my last shot!!

    Congrats on the doe TallTines.
I finally had a little time out yesterday. Had a nice little 8 come in at just past ten yards. Was doing good getting ready to shoot then he spooked as I was at full draw so couldn't get a shot. Hoping to get out again still before were done here but gotta say fairly sketchy. Colds and flus and everything else has been killing any chances.
Had the blessing of my netbook hard drive crashing and losing all my pics from all years, followed by my two trophy cams both crapping out yet again over last two weeks, covert as of this week won't take pics beyond 5 feet in front of it, and other various whinings. Really could use a happy ending to this season

Congrats on the second doe. Phones definitely are some of the best and worst things.
I was near my field today moving some stuff around and had what I thought was a doe coming through. Looked closer and it was a buck that shed already. I guess it happens sometimes now but earliest I noticed before was mid January.

Decided to go for a quick walk curious after seeing that yesterday. Turned out I was right which buck I thought it was too. Found his shed about 300 yards down his trail near some beds. His other one was broke off a while back so not worth any effort beyond the few min out there. Woulda been sweet to have been a bigger one but it's the first fresh one I've found and know the buck. And I'm easily amused.

Well gentlemen, it's been a little quiet on here lately and I know I've been part of that issue. My season hasn't been going well at all. My normal stand that I utilize thought the year has been very dead compared to last years. I've only had 2 or 3 encounters with a couple does we're as in past years, I've seen a deer every time I went out. I have a buddy that is letting me sit in his stand and last week I had a doe at 36 yards, but it had a branch in the way and wasn't the most ethical shot so I passed. With all this snow we've had lately, he said there are about 3-5 does hitting the food plot by the stand more, so this afternoon I'm going out which will more than likely be my last sit. The season ends tomorrow and being in sales and year end, I doubt there is any way of getting out. Hopefully everyone else will get out a time or two and send up to number 1!!!! Good luck guys!!!!

Same here. Not extremely happy with how the season went but learned a lot and more to work on for next year. Wish I coulda been productive or at least had more positive to add but things didn't quite go as hoped. Good luck to you guys as well.

I shot these 2 does tonight in IA. It was the last day I could hunt there. The photos with my gear are in the other thread for the points. It was 10 degrees with a 25 mph North wind so it was very cold. I did not get field pictures of them but the ones I got should do.

Nice kills, congrats. Definitely a bit cool here too. Think like -25 over night. Teens now. Now that seasons been done had a few nice deer on cam and seen.

I also added my WI buck to the score thread so the points will added up once the score cards are updated. But I'm am sure everyone else's will too.

Congratulations on your kills! I hope to hunt another state this year besides my home state of Wisconsin.
We shall see as my bordering states especially IL charge so high for non resident licenses.
