I rattled in a couple of young bucks Sunday evening. As they neared my stand, I noticed one was missing his left antler. They began fighting not 10yds away. Then 15min later two more came in to investigate. One passed directly under my stand then stopped at 15yds and made a scrape. He was missing an antler too. This makes three bucks I've seen in two weeks that were all busted up. I'm thinking there's a good buck in the area kicking their butts.

I would definitely pay close attention for the crusher that is putting a beating on all of these other bucks. I'm guessing you don't have trail cams set up if you have not mentioned them yet? All I can suggest is to just hunt the area as much as you can and see what happens. See if that big guy decides to show himself one day. In my experience, the bigger the deer, the later they come out to feed. To get that big they have to be smart. Just my opinion. Good luck with it!
