I remember that incident, glad you'll at least get restitution and some justice. Won't the no-shows have a warrant out for them, or are they officially cleared of any wrongdoing??

Officially cleared of any wrong doing, the 2 kids to showed up are responsible for paying everything.

Sweet.....We have a couple stands that we have had cameras stolen before so anytime we set up one there, there is another IR watching the main camera site. So far no takers.....

 

Wow. Some people just have no morals or ethics at all. It never seems to stop amazing me. Lol. Glad u found out who it was and will hopefully get ur cam back.

Well i spent this morning in the city prosecutors office filling out paperwork. Their first attemp is to get the camera, second money at cash value, third is prosecute and press charges

 

personally i would press charges, maybe it will scare other people in the area that are doing the same thing

 

Like others have said. Press charges. A message needs to be sent out to these scum.

 

Wtg Zach! I hope they press charges and prosecute her especially since they have a history of problems.

 

Wow...Crazy stuff! You're lucky she didn't see the other cam...then you would not have had a clue. Cool story.

 

Too bsad it wasnt a high dollar camera, she could be charged with a felony in MO if its over $500 I believe.

 

So that would probably be just recoynx cameras

 

if she had to go on your land to get it id charge with criminal trespass, theft (which could be a felony depending on the state you live in) anything over $150 in IL is a felony.

 

Felony theft is $500 in Ohio(or, if the OP is over 65 it is automatically a felony).

 

"Dont steal from seniors" is the message the ohio government is sending to would be theifs!

 

She has until Sept 18th to return the camera or send a check, before I can press charges for tresspassing and theft. Hopefully it doesnt get to that point bc I still have faith in people but if it does I also have no mercy for stupidity!
