This lady felt the need to steal a brand new bushnell trophy cam I put out a few weeks ago.... then walk right by my other camera with it in her hand..... She didnt wanna answer the door with me and two sheriffs so the county prosecutor will be contacting her. Why are people so stupid! If its not yours keep your greedy hands off it!!!!
Cant stand that crap. Glad you were able to catch her though. Hope she fries for this! LOL Sent from my DROID X2 using Tapatalk 2
Glad you could catch her, make sure you prosecute the hell out of her, the biggest thing I hate is a thief.
Im glad someone on our side finally gets to win this battle. I hate that people feel the need to take stuff that isn't theirs.
OUTSTANDING Catch! Fry the B*tch! I'll betcha' her man trespasses on your property during hunting season (if she has one - that's a 'bagger'!).
You wouldn't think this is your typical trail cam thief unless a anti-hunter hoping to making your life more miserable. Was this private property she stole it from ?? Was it posted if it was private ?? Is this your property ?? Do you know her?? What was she doing on the property??. Just out walking?? There is a story here and it has me curious. I would have done it a little different to find out. Not involve the cops on the first visit unless she is a known problem from past experiences. I hate thieves and you got to do what you think is best to stop them so this isn't in any shape or form saying you handled this wrong... especially if you own the property. If it is not your property I hope she wasn't a liked neighbor to the property owner. Land to hunt is tough to find now days. Just saying... Tim
That would be perfect for a "What kind of animal is this" thread. Good to see someone finally got caught!
Yea this was on private property that Ive hunted for about 20 years. Yes its posted, and no its not my property just a long time family friend. Dont know her and never met her, she had to cross a creek to get on this property and I just cut mowed the trails down the day prior so im sure she heard me over there since her house is only 200 yards away and went snooping. I hadnt been back to lock the camera up bc i didnt want to disturb the area anymore than I did mowing, so all she had to do was take it. I was going to knock on doors until I found her and at least ask for it back but I talked to a close friend and he recommended I have a sheriff do it since thats what he is bc he sees this alot and people get into fights and things turn bad quick. So i asked the local fruit stand lady on her road if she knew the lady from the picture I printed and she said it was her neighbor 3 doors down, so the sheriff said game on. Once they got to the house they realized this is a house they've been to before and have had trouble with these people so im kinda glad I went this route.
