The big 8 pointer that I've had coming around my stand on my cameras came out of nowhere this morning and was standing broadside at 22 yards! My bow was laying across my stand. I was able to get my bow ready, but as I was starting to stand up, he caught me but didn't react too badly. He finally looked away and I started moving again and he looks at me again. If I would have had any sense, I would've froze, but, like an idiot, I started trying ease my release onto the string and he saw that movement and bolted. He got about 70 yards away and scolded me pretty good by blowing at me about 10 times. Maybe I'll get another chance at him.
