Had a nice 3.5 yr old coming out right under my stand. Just as he was about to step out into a clear shooting lane he snorted and ran off. I thought maybe he winded me but no doubt he didn't because about 45 sec later two hunters walked by me at about 75 yds so I'm sure they spooked him. My question is this I was hunting a scrape line which would have worked well if not for the intruders so would you guys go back to the same spot or set up somewhere else?

It's good he spooked from the other hunters and not you. He still doesn't know where your setup is. I'd say hell still use that scrape line unless he's being pushed off of it a lot.

Maybe give it a day or 2 at most but you're safe going back. If that's the only pressure he's had in there it will be fine. The sad part is the guys that spooked him probably didn't know he was even there and they didn't see you either I'm assuming.

They didn't see him as it turns out. Its a guy who hunts with his wife and they were leaving the woods. I think I will give it a day or so and set up in another location to be safe.
