I am going to purchase a new trail camera in the next week or two and I am really thinking about the bushnell trophy cam. I have heard mostly good things about it but wanted your guys opinions first. If you have any other suggestions in the 150$-200$ dollar range feel free to let me know also.

I have a 2010 Trophycam and have been less than pleased with it. The first one I had went on picture taking runs of nothing and would take several thousand pictures of nothing until it filled the card. I sent it back and the new one hasn't had that problem, although I still get alot of false triggers. The IR pics leave a lot to be desired, the flash not being very effective past 15-20 yards. They had a great camera in 2009 and I don't know what they did to mess up this year's model but it's not as good as last years. I def would not buy another. Here is a professional review on the Bushnell. Hope this helps.

I really like the Wildgame Innovations X6C, Primos Truthcam 60, and just about any of the Scoutguards. If you check out www.chasingame.com you can read reviews on about any camera. When it comes time to buy, I always recommend www.trailcampro.com. They have great service and one of the best guarantees on the web. Good luck!

I've had mine for 3-months and like it so far...

I just got the x6c for x-mas and put it out a few days ago, so I'll have more info in a week or so...

Ok guys did some looking around and I am really considering the primos truth cam 46. The bushnell got a lot of good reviews but two many bad ones for my liking. My two conscerns are the battery life, and the so called "clunking noise" when it takes pictures. I usally put my cheap tasco cam out for a week at a time and average 400-500 pics. I get around 1000 pics on a set of batterys and the night time pics are dark after about 20 feet to the point I can't tell if it's a buck or doe. I would like to upgrade and at the moment the primos truth cam 46 is at the top of my list. So I was wondering how many pics do you guys get on a set of batterys and does the clunking noise scare the deer any?

I have the 46 and have had no problem with spooked deer and it uses D cells which i've gotten about 1200 pics on my first and only set of batteries and the cam still says it has 20% battery power left. I would recommend it. I had the IR4 Wildgame cam and always has a lot of blurred deer from the slow trigger. I dont have any of that with the 46.

As far as the Wildgame cam goes. My IR4 took a ton of pics and seemed reliable until i went to check it and it was just quit taking pics, wouldnt do anything. I took it to Gander to exchange it and the man at the Bow section saw me pick another one up and told me not to do it and that 3 out of 4 come back for the same problem. He told me to try out the 46 as it was a new cam at the time and gave me a coupon to help offset the cost of the exchange. I've been happ so far with the 46 but i've only had it about 4 months so my review is still ongoing.

I have had the 2010 bushnell and has been some problems with it, the 2009 was a great cam. I have 2 primos 35 and have not notice the clunk spooking deer.
