Last year I purchased a Bushnell Trophy Cam and love it besides one problem. That problem being that at least once a day, it will go on "runs" where it will take pictures every 30 seconds, for 1-2 hours even though their is nothing that appears to be triggering the camera. It has done this since the beginning, but when I adjusted the sensitivity level down to low, it decreased the amount of times it goes on these "runs" to about once a day from 2-3 times per day. After going through 2 Cuddebacks, I know there are far worse problems with a camera and this is more of an inconvenience (especially when going to hundreds of blank pics), but I was wondering if anybody has had this problem with Bushnells, and if so, how do you fix it.

I have tried setting it in different spots (sun, shade, woods, field edges, etc), but it doesn't seem to make a difference. Any help would be appreciated.

I have run this camera in the past and have noticed a similar problem. At first I thought it was due to the cold... I put out in January and it took consecutive pictures the moment I left until the camera was full. But I also have had it happen during the fall for short periods - like 2 hours???? Try fresh batteries... sometimes that helps. :) Either that or get a 16gb card and just deal with the the blank photos. :).

Oh you could also try to ship back to Bushnell see if they have a fix?

    Good luck!

I've also experienced this and was able to get a replacement unit from Bushnell. They were very easy to deal with and I had the replacement in a week.

The 2010 cameras all had this problem. I had one and sent it back and Trailcampro replaced it. The second one didn't have that problem but it quit working properly last year and I posted on here about the problem. A fellow member contacted me and said he would look into my problem. In about a week I had a brand new Bushnell. I can't remember who the member was but obviously he worked for Bushnell and monitors this board. My situation worked out great and I hope yours does as well.

    Blessings.......Pastorjim

This is what I did. Before that, I kept fresh batteries in it and the sensitivity on low.
